I am a print maker/artist based in Levenshulme, Manchester. My work is inspired by the scenes and
everyday objects around me, paying particular attention to colour and shape. My aim is to distil the essence of a subject
into a bold, simple form that still retains the atmosphere and essential detail. My style is influenced by Pop Art and
graphic images. I am always experimenting with different styles and techniques, but my work retains a distinctive style.
This series of etchings is inspired by the coast, countryside and rivers, places I have visited many times, including Cornwall, Scarborough and more locally, the River Irwell in Salford and Tatton Park in Knutsford.
